Per la redazione dei contributi, interventi, note e discussioni:
Le proposte di articoli, da inviare all’indirizzo storiaepolitica@unipa.it, devono indicare l’Università o ente di provenienza e l’indirizzo di posta elettronica dell’autore. L’articolo deve contenere un abstract in inglese di massimo ottocento battute spazi inclusi e deve riportare, in inglese, il titolo del contributo e 5 keywords inerenti il contenuto del lavoro.
I testi, di massimo ottantamila battute spazi inclusi, realizzati in file word con il carattere Bookman Old Style di dimensione 10, vanno suddivisi in paragrafi titolati. Le note vanno collocate a piè di pagina con richiamo in apice e scritte con carattere dimensione 8.
Le brevi citazioni di massimo tre righe, corredate da un preciso riferimento alla fonte, vanno racchiuse con virgolette a caporale: «……….». Nel testo le citazioni più estese devono essere riportate in un capoverso a sé stante, separate da un rigo vuoto al principio e al termine e con dimensione del carattere 9. Le citazioni delle opere oggetto di ricorrenti richiami vanno indicate con un acronimo. Nella prima citazione va riportato il titolo esteso e accanto la sigla tra parentesi. Esempio: La Scienza della legislazione (Lsdl). In alternativa all’acronimo può impiegarsi un’abbreviazione.
L’evidenziazione di parole o termini particolari va indicata con le virgolette ad apice “………..”.. Non vanno utilizzati il grassetto e il maiuscoletto. Il corsivo è limitato ai vocaboli di una differente lingua.
I richiami bibliografici nel testo e nelle note devono indicare il cognome dell’autore e l’anno di pubblicazione racchiusi tra parentesi tonde mentre l’eventuale anno dell’edizione originale richiede le parentesi quadre. Es: (Matteucci 1997:138); (Smith 2006 [1776]). I riferimenti agli autori devono essere corredati dall’anno di pubblicazione riportato tra parentesi. Es: Mill (1848).
La bibliografia finale consiste nell’elenco completo, in ordine alfabetico, dei testi citati nel testo e nelle note e va compilata come segue:

NB: l’effetto del carattere del cognome e nome degli autori in bibliografia è il maiuscoletto e non il maiuscolo.
Recensioni: carattere Bookman Old Style 9
Per un criterio di omogeneità, le schede sui singoli volumi recensiti devono essere di circa seimila battute, compresi gli spazi; per volumi di Atti di convegni, lavori collettanei in più tomi, le schede possono essere di circa dodicimila battute compresi gli spazi.
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines:
Proposals for articles, to be sent to storiaepolitica@unipa.it, must indicate the affiliation (University or other institution) and the author’s e-mail address. The article must consist of an abstract in English containing a maximum of 800 characters including spaces, the title, in English, of the paper, and 5 keywords relating to its contents.
The texts, containing a maximum of 80,000 characters including spaces, must be submitted in word files using Bookman Old Style font size 10, and divided into titled paragraphs. The footnotes should be indicated in superscript using font size 8.
Any short quotations (up to 3 lines), accompanied by a precise reference to the source, must be enclosed within quotation marks: «……….». More extensive quotations within the body of the article must be in font size 9 and form separate paragraphs, set apart by an empty line at the beginning and one at the end. Works often referred to must be indicated with an acronym, except the first time they are quoted, when the full title must be reported, with the acronym in brackets next to it – e.g.: The Science of Legislation (LSDL). An abbreviation can be used as an alternative to the acronym.
Words that require particular emphasis should appear between quotation marks “……… “. Bold font or small caps should not be used. Italics must be limited to foreign terms.
Bibliographic references in the text and in the notes must indicate the author’s surname and year of publication within round brackets. The year of the original edition, if specified, should appear within square brackets – e.g.: (Matteucci 1997: 138); (Smith 2006 [1776]). References to authors must be accompanied by the year of publication shown in brackets – e.g.: Mill (1848).
The final bibliography consists of the complete list, in alphabetical order by author’s surname, of the texts cited in the body of the article and in the footnotes, and must be compiled as follows:

The style of the font of the surname and name of the authors in the bibliography is the small cap, not the uppercase letter.
Reviews: Bookman Old Style font size 9
Style consistency demands that reviews on individual volumes must be not exceed 6,000 characters including spaces; for Conference Proceedings and collective works in several volumes, the reviews can extend to 12,000 characters including spaces.
